Products Ordering

After you have ordered online, you will receive an order confirmation to either your email or mobile phone (which ever one you entered at checkout)  from Fertile Horizons containing your order details.  Products will be shipped out within 24-48 hours from receipt of your accepted order, via our Couriers or Australia Post. Nearly all times we always aim to have your goods packaged and sent within 24 hours.

(Express Post orders are sent the next business day)

Once dispatched a tracking number will be sent to the email address or mobile phone number provided with the order.

Postage within Australia

Standard Shipping

Fertile Horizons offers FREE STANDARD SHIPPING via our Couriers or Australia Post, Australia-wide, for orders over $90.00 in the one transaction.

Delivery for orders under $90.00 are charged at a flat rate of $8.95

A signature may be required upon receipt and tracking will be emailed or sent to your mobile phone (depending which one you entered at check out).  Should no one be present to receive the delivery, the package will be left in a safe place or alternatively a card will be left advising the receiver to collect their item from a local post office if we have used Australia Post or arrange re- delivery if a courier company is used.

Please contact the courier company direct if re-delivery to another address is required.  

**NB: Couriers do not currently deliver to a PO Box address so please present a physical address for prompt delivery or items will be sent via Australia Post Standard post. 

We do have an Australian Express Post option which is based on weight and satchel size which our boxes fit into. Our Signature White Gift Boxes are placed into a protective shipping box which fits into Australia's Post 'Large' size satchel up to 5kg. Our decorated Kraft Shipping Boxes fit into Australia's Post 'Medium' size satchel up to 3kg. Cost varies whether > 500 g or < 500 g. Postal options will appear upon checkout.

Courier Delivery Times:

All regional areas: add 1-2 extra business days

All deliveries are on business days Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm.  Any orders placed on the weekend will be processed on the next business day.

We use various professional couriers to ensure you receive your delivery the fastest and safest way possible.  In some events there may be circumstances out of our hands which may delay your delivery, for example unforeseen weather conditions.

International Shipping:

At present we only ship within Australia. 

Please contact us via email - if you would like a gift shipped overseas, include your country, postcode and contact phone number. We will get back to you with a quote from Australia Post.

Costs depend on weight of items sent.

Shipping costs will include packaging, postage and handling but does not include any international duties and taxes incurred where applied by your local customs. These are to be the responsibility of the buyer. 

Please note, items are packed to prevent damage, however no responsibility is taken for items lost or damaged in the post as unfortunately this is out of our control. 

Cancellation of order

Unfortunately, we are not able to make any changes once your order has been placed, nor can we cancel orders.

You can return your items once you have received your order, simply contact us via for a Return Authorisation number.

Redirection of order

Once orders are dispatched, we are unable to redirect them.  If you wish to redirect your parcel and we have shipped with our couriers, please contact the courier company affiliated with your order directly.   

Greeting Cards

All Greeting Cards purchased on their own have free postage. A message box comes up when adding to your order in which you may write your personalised message and we will add this to the card on your behalf.

Returns / Refunds & Exchanges

All orders are carefully packaged and checked prior to shipping. Great care is taken to ensure that all images and information provided are accurate and as close as possible to the actual item.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will give you a 30 day refund or exchange on full-priced items purchased from date of order fulfillment. This refund or exchange policy does not apply to goods that have been worn, items damaged after delivery, and damage to the item from not following care instructions that come with your product.

Please get in contact by emailing us at for a Return Authority number within this time frame.  This number is to be included within the package returned with your proof of purchase.  Please include your name, phone number and reason for return.   Items purchased on sale or with a promotional discount code cannot be returned or exchanged. 

All products must be returned in their original condition, unused and in their original packaging.  Note that the cost of the return parcel is to be paid by the buyer. We recommend you return the product via registered post which includes tracking and signature on delivery.

You assume any risk of lost, theft or damaged goods in transit & therefore we also recommend you take out shipment insurance with your postal carrier.  Fertile Horizons will not be responsible for any lost or damaged parcels.

Please note we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for earrings due to hygiene reason; as well as if you change your mind about a product purchased.

Once your return is received and processed, your refund will be credited to the method of payment used at the time of purchase, less the shipping charges.  Please allow up to 7 working days for your refund to be processed. An email confirmation will be sent once complete.

Jewellery Repairs

As our jewellery products are hand-made overseas, Fertile Horizons does not offer a repair service.  If your product is faulty within a 30 day period, we will replace, refund or offer a credit to be used within 3 months from date of purchase. Please contact us at to return the product with proof of purchase as outlined above within this time frame.  This does not cover:

  • Neglect or wear or tear
  • Minor discrepancies
  • Damage to products caused by accident or neglects to care for items as per Care Instructions below.
  • Damage cause by scratching where the product has come in contact with another object or surface which is abrasive.

Jewellery Care Instructions:

Care should be taken when wearing and storing your jewellery.

It is natural for sterling silver to tarnish over time.  To ensure your jewellery keeps its’ shine over time, we recommend you avoid contact with harsh chemicals such as household cleaners, hairspray, lotion, perfume, sunscreen, water and cosmetics.  Store in a protective pouch which all our jewellery comes with and clean with a dry polishing cloth.  Do not leave jewellery in bathrooms or anywhere near moisture.

Apply care instructions to gold plated sterling silver as well as stainless steel pieces.

If your piece features elements such as semi-precious gemstones, please provide the same care as listed to maintain its lustre.  Like all natural materials, each gemstone exhibits variations in colour & structure.  Each one is unique and this in no way represents variations in quality.
